89 pu wont run

i have a 89 toyota pu 22re engine manual trans it wont take the fuel when i give it gas it cuts out and pops then it will finally pick up at wide open throttle this is when im sitting still i havent driving it yet it smells like its running real rich checked fuel preeure its right changed fuel filter plugs wires check timing one more thing when you spray carb cleaner in the top of throttle body it runs fine what would cause this

When you spray carb cleaner into the throttle body, you say it "runs fine" Does that mean, runs fine but at considerably higher idle? If so, take that can of carb cleaner and spray around every vacuum hose and every gasket on the intake side of the truck. If you get the same result, replace the said hose or gasket.
