Cutting off the 4x4

I have a 1999 Blazer LS which is 4 wheel drive. I was wondering what all needed to be done to completely get rid of all 4 wheel drive parts. I plan to drop it to the ground and put a 350 in it so I can race it. How big of a process is it? What all am I going to need to get new?

Thanks

Re: Cutting off the 4x4

Something to consider.... Among other things, the frame, suspension, and steering linkage are totally different from 2WD to 4WD. It would be FAR less expensive to buy a 2WD vehicle.
