SCOTUS - The Next Generation

Who do you think should be nominated to the Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS or as I like to call it Scrotum.)

I think it would be a woman, but I am interested to see what you political pundits think.

I am sure the following statement will get the republicans here into an internal combustive state. But what the heck.
I say obama should say screw it and appoint Kathleen Marie Sullivan. Standford law, a women, lesbian. There I said it.

TS out (running from the angry crowd)

Not really Dave. I just think of my bank account and all that money I'll have for final retirement.

If this were a poll I'd have to vote "present". ....

But seriously IMO time for a real minority such as a Hispanic or Asian either male or female.

Woman. Lesbian. Gun hater. Ethnic.

How about someone who has shown a record of proper judgements and has a keen legal mind and is respected by everyone they associate with, REGARDLESS of these other things?

I mean, the SC is supposed to be the final arbiter of the law. And while there will always be some slant or opinion based on the members' outlooks, shouldn't they be a keen legal mind rather than a category?
