It's been a while since I post here. Here is my latest build. The Lancer Evo VII RS. I bought this kit just for the steel rims. I think this kit is a beauty and pity not much people appreciate those steel rims (although HTF item)

I don't know how some glue stain ( very minor ) found its way on the left door ( below the handle )
and a little paint chip at the mesh area..still I consider it a sweet build though it's not my best build..

I had always wanted those steel wheels, just that the LHS are selling this kit for just as much as the kits with aluminum wheel replicas. For some reason the form of these wheels seem wrong, perhaps the holes should be drilled more away from the center, leaving the raised rib intact.


Otherwise, I think you built this model well.

The kits wheels don't have the inner lip like the 1:1 pic you showed.

i love steelies!!! i had a bridgestone steelie race wheels before, size 14x6, and is lighter if not the same to a same sized volk te37.
