what do i need

ok i have a b16 ... and i want to be different ... my one friend has a vortech charger, another has a jrsc, one a rev hard turbo, and another is going all motor with skunk 2 stuff... my prob is i want to be different ... and so i choose nitrous ... i need to know what is safe and how much i can do .... im looken at a venom setup ... but is that realy necessary ... i want to be able to run somewhere in the high 12s with nitrous ... i dont mind having to build the motor to handle it but i just need to know what to do ... i want to be able to run anything that the venom can handle and i read it can do up to a 175 shot out of the box ... so my question to all of you is what do i need to run this setup correctly ... no cheap ass way around it ... i want it to be safe and i want to be able to run it 2 or 3 times a night when i race ...

first i'm sorry to say this but if you wanted to be different a civic is a very poor choice.

also you need some serious rebuilding of the engine to get into 12. You would need probably over 150 shot. Also nitrous is faily expensive to refill last quote i had was 3.75 a pound.

btw also you need to lower the compresion and that would make you loose power in everyday driving unless you plan to have always the nitrous on.

IMO go turbo so you can be all the time fast and not pay for refills. I would not worry about the being differnt stuff since aagin you chose a civic

also venom had very good nitrous setups especially the ones with a piggyback. i'm sure they would make one that can support easily a 175 shot just give them a call.

well you can do it but you'll be using a lot of nitrous to get a civic into the 12's. The price of refills will be overwhelming after a time IMO.

yah and your car will be slow without the nitrous as he said before. if you really want to be different swap your head onto a b20 block or and ls block. youll be the first with a ls vtec or crvtec and you would easily keep up with most of them.
