Screwed up big time

Hey guys, this is my first time on any automotive forum, so be gentle. lol

I was doin somethin stupid in my car and messed up the panel behind the wheel well quite a bit.

Just wondering what my options here are as far as fixing it goes. I haven't reported it yet (I know I'm not the only one here) so is taking it to a body shop out of the question?

If I can't take it to the body shop, how hard would it be to replace that panel?

Without specifics or pics its nearly impossible to give worthwhile advice. which panel did you damage? what is the extent of the damage? etc...
