Re: cant start after locking keys in

Did you try locking and unlocking the doors with the key?

Re: cant start after locking keys in

Is it a factory alarm or an aftermarket system? Does the 'Theft' or 'Security' light in the instrument cluster flash, stay on constant, or not come on at all? What year is your LS? Does the engine crank just not start, or doesn't even crank?

Re: cant start after locking keys in

Assuming you've tried the suggestion offered above by Airjer, do you have a second key that you can try? The blinking Security light would be a good sign the no-start is due to the anti-theft system.

If you have access to a professional scan tool, you can pull the codes for the anti-theft system. You might also try leaving the car battery disconnected for 15 minutes or so to see if that will clear the fault.
