Ranger 1994 XL - turn signals don't blink but do come ON

For some reason when i put the turn signals on the light just stays ON instead on blinking, inside and outside. Any ideas?

I would go to the parts store and ask for a flasher unit that's the most likely culprit, Where its located in the truck I could'nt tell you, have not had to replace mine yet

you can rule out the flasher unit if you turn on your hazard lights as well... i think the flasher unit's the same for both turn signals and hazard lights...

did you actually pull out the bulbs and check if one is burnt out?

ok the 4 ways work. so its not the flasher?

bulbs all work and have not been replaced lately. The bulb comes ON but doesn't blink with turn signals but does with 4WAYs.

if the flasher unit is the same for both... u ruled it out

so bulbs are not burnt/ the wire inside of them are ok when u pulled them off and looked?

may be the flasher stalk on your colum then...

Ive seen many a rig with 2 flasher relays - 1 for hazards, 1 for directionals. Theyre usually on the fuse panel. They do sometimes bounce loose, too.
