Product reviews request #1: Paints In A Can
Hello all.
We are currently in the process of updating our FAQs and Product Review/Guide pages and would like some input from you guys to help answer some of the most frequent questions we get about out most basic supplies. The first topic we are looking at is that of paint and to begin with specifically paints that come in an aerosol can. Basically, what we need are reviews and/or guides to paints that you guys use. Personally, I have tried: Tamiya TS Halfords Automotive paints Humbrol Acrylics Hycote Double Acrylic all straight of the can being airbrushless but I am sure that there are many others available that not all of us here are aware of. What we need, is a list of all paints used by you lot along with a review and comparison with other products so that we can collate it all into a comprehensive list of paints and their qualities. So that's it for now. I think it may be best to post reviews here so other members can discuss the product and add info as neccessary. Also, try and keep it to the following format so that to begin with, we get the important basic neccessary information. Brand Type Packaging Compatible thinner Cleanup with Strip with Source/availability Notes/comments

I can go first....
Brand Tamiya TS Lacquer Type 'Sythetic' Lacquer Packaging Aerosol type spray can. Must me decanted for airbrush use Compatible thinner Tamiya Lacquer Thinner. Other lacquer thinner such as Gunze may work, however use at your own risk!! Cleanup with Any lacquer thinner Strip with Isopropyl alcohol, 91% or better Source/availability Generally worldwide through hobby shops/distributors. Can be ordered by mail through internet hobby dealers Notes/comments Requires significant thinning after decanting for airbrush use. A terrific product straight out of the can. The standard by which all spray cans should be judged.
