99 Tahoe

Hello, I have a problem with my 99 tahoe Z71. While accelerating in 3rd and 4th gear it will keep loosing power. It is almost like a misfire and will happen in small spurts. It will never happen in 1st or 2nd gear though. Does anyone have any ideas?

Re: 99 Tahoe

Is it loosing power or is the trans slipping? If the RPMs are increasing, it could be the 3-4 Clutch pack is worn.

At first I did think it was the transmission, but the rpms don't jump and I opened the window and you can hear the exhaust cut out when it happens
