Tranny help plz

I have a 94 formula and the stock 4l60e died so I got one from a 95 v6 bird the transmissions look the same the only diffrence I can find is the performance button in the formula is not the same in the v6 instead it has a 2nd gear start will this be a problem or am I waisting time on this tranny

i don't think you can use the V6 tranny. I believe the bellhousing bolt pattern is not the same.
