Question 94caprice?'s optispark,digi speedo,etc.

I have a 94 caprice 4.3 L99 took opti spark off its not as bad as ppl make it seem to me 30 min icluding harmonic balancer with no rented tool cap was bad waiting on new one shuld be here friday or saturday got cap and rotor for 40 bucks is there a certain way to put optispark back in so it will be in time and is there anyway to fix digital speedomter i took it out put it back in it came on and worked fine but was off the next day and hasnt worked since and one of my fans doesnt turn on help with any of these would be very much appreciated
