Great...no oil pressure on the way home.

Well here we go again.

Driving home tonight come on to an on ramp and i gave it some gas to beat a line of slow cars and the engine bogs down..

look down and i notice the engine is starting to heat up. get to the next exit and shut it off and get towed. Low oil pressure...10 and below when i came to a stop..dreaded check gauges lights on.

2nd time this has happened after getting a lower intake gasket replaced. I hope it didn't spin a bearing again and fry the motor. no bad sounds coming from motor after.

1st time was my fault for not replacing the gasket when I knew it was leaking...replace immediately when i noticed a leak this time.

no tapping or any problems before...didn't use a drop of oil...

Blazers...

O.K. No noise, no tapping, ABSOLUTELY NO LOSS OF OIL?

Where is the oil level on the dipstick now?

No Oil in the Rad or water in the oil?

Have you tried to start it since you got it home?

How long since the Manifold gaskets were replaced?

10 lbs. of oil pressure isn't a death sentence.

You have had previous issues, Can you give us more history?

Nope. Oil at full on dip stick.

no water in the oil that i know of.

Replace gasket about 2 months ago.

Started it and it sounded OK with a bit of taping. no grinding or steel on steel sounds

This is a replacement engine, used from a salvage yard.

sitting at the mechanics now.
