Exclamation Illumination Fuse Keeps Blowing 1998 Breeze

I just installed a radio. I uses a wiring harness adapter which was missing the ground wire. I pulled the pin from an old apadter and put it into the adapter harness. The radio works great but the illumination fuse keeps blowing.

Does anyone what is causing this?? Could it be that the radio is still not properly grounded??

guess so; try to just wire a ground cable directly to a chassis instead of using that pin
