I am so lost onthis one....

I have a 1997 Camaro RS 3.8 5 speed, it has the 3800 series II motor. For about a couple of months now when I start the car it starts up just fine then a half of a second later it shuts right back off, if you try to give it gas when you start it, it acts as if it is getting choked out and immediately shuts right back off, you can only rev it about once or twice, after fighting with it for about 10 minutes, it finally quits doing that and then becomes totally ready to drive, then a couple of days later it does it again, It has become worse since it has been hotter outside. I've had diagnostics at autozone done and they don't have a clue what it could be....

I've changed the Fuel Filter, all three Coil Packs, Throttle Position Sensor, Map Sensor, Plugs and Wires(gapped them at .060 like they are supposed to be), and even modified the Catylic Converter....nothing has changed this problem so far......I fought with it today before I went to work, nothing, 9 hours later I come home at 11 at night and it starts perfectly and I drove it up and down my road with no problems...I just don't understand, when you crank the key over you can hear the fuel pump turn on.....

This could be caused by a number of things, however since you mention it's worse in warmer conditions I would look at the coolant temp sensor and the crank sensor.

Sometimes you can wiggle the connector or tap the MAF and get them to act up as well
