Em-Effing Interior Paint

Ive been painting my interior lately, and everythings gona good. I did more sills, window switch holder, The 2 peice base under the shifting column, the center vent on the dash, blah blah. Little peice. So im doing my doors now and they keep coming out like complete shit.

They have these rough looking (but smooth as hell) spots all over them, especially in the light. \

Ive followed the thread six times. Am i missing something? i know im not that bad with spray paint, and the other peices have come out well. The primer looked beautiful, i couldnt have spent any more time on it.

Any advice?

Is the topcoat compatible with the primer?

Same company doesn't mean jack..

Is the paint meant for plastic or metal?

Re: Em-Effing Interior Paint

Is this the same primer/paint/top that you used for all the successful pieces?

Did you clean the panels before priming them? Might have some residue from armorall, smoke, or anything else that has been in the car.

Did the cans freeze over the winter, or since you last used them? If paint freezes, it's no good any more. Was it applied in the suggested temperature/humidity range?

Re: Em-Effing Interior Paint

Good suggestoions, but i pass on all of them.

Should have mentioned though, i sand them down to make them smoother and more (fiberglassy) looking.

But its a good sand. I made damn well sure it was smooth as could be, cause im tired of wasting time and money on these things.

Re: Em-Effing Interior Paint

Did you use the exact same cans as you did on the good ones? Might have got a bad one. I got one years ago that I'm pretty sure froze on the truck.

Was it left to dry in a place where someone could just be f-ing with you?
