Questions about my 2000 PA ULTRA

Hello everybody,

I bought a 2000 PA ULTRA and i like it very much...now i purchased it from one of the mom and pop dealerships for a steal price but after driving it for a total of 4 days i find out from taking it to Sears that it needs:
1. a new trans
2. a new oil pan and whatever goes along with that
3. water pump
4. thermostat
5. a/c compressor
6. lines for a/c
7. gauge cluster because the needles start freaking out when the car idles for a while
8. front and rear shocks
9. front and rear brake pads
10. rear calipers
11.valve cover gaskets
12. some different oil lines because the car was leaking oil bad.
13. motor mounts.
14. sunroof does not work
Now, upon purchasing the car i was told that the car was in excellent condition and ready to go. Also, what i thought was weird was after i bought the car they sent me to have it smogged!!!!! Then, when i had it smogged the dudes that the shop didn't even ask my name or any information they just smogged it in like 5 minutes and say thank you come again!!! So, what do you think i should do??????...i've already contacted the owner and told him that either he pays for fixing everything or i would take him to court to get my money back....

Re: Questions about my 2000 PA ULTRA

Sears service team specialize in tire changing, not mechanical diagnosis. I would have the car inspected by an ASE certified technician to get a 2nd -- and professional opinion.

Re: Questions about my 2000 PA ULTRA

yes he's right about sears on what they can and cant. i think all there good at is changing oil you might want to check the oil before you leave and they forgot to put oil in lol...but i know a couple people they screwed up and they cant do tires right either but a friend of mine had 4 new rims and bought new tires on they forgot to tighten up left front tire and it tore the you know what out of left front fender and tryed saying it was not there falt and it was a toyota 4 wheel drive. told him he drove off the lot so it was his falt. i went over with my ase patch which don't mean crap and there the book worms i call them. just because they have ase patches on don't really know how to do it. but if you want a job in a shop you have to have it....anyway good luck..
