Power Windows - 93 Escort Wagon 1.9L

My driver window is slipping - sounds like worn gear cogs. Anybody ever replace these? Can you even buy a gear kit? I've seen no aftermarket Scort PW parts or ever seen a PW scort at a boneyard here in SE USA. On another thread - fellow in Toronto said PW scorts are all over boneyard. Go figure. I'm sure the dealer could order a whole scissors unit for $300-400. That ain't gonna happen - LOL. Thanks, Doug

Re: Power Windows - 93 Escort Wagon 1.9L

Window Regulator - finally remembered the term - better than "scissors unit"...LOL. Searching tonite - I find beaucoups of 93 Ranger power window regulators. The part number appears to be: DORMAN Part # 740831 {OE Solutions #3L5Z 1023209-AA, F57Z 1023209-AA}

Anybody know if this could fit a Scort? Thanks, Doug
