Unhappy 01 ABS Problem

The ABS light came on the other day and the pump continues to run after the ignition is turned off (I pulled the fuse to stop it). I believe this means the ABS Control Module is bad. Is this correct? Where is it located? And, where can I get a new unit?

Dealer has parts.
You first need to test it out on a good ABS capable scanner and get to the problem.
Post back any codes.

Cool Re: 01 ABS Problem

Silly question, where can I get the ABS scanned? My local auto repair wants $90/hr to "investigate" the problem. Scanning for codes seems like a quick plug and read

Repair shops or dealer.
Yes code scan is just plugin and read.
But that is only one step toward reair.
Finding the problem and testing it out takes a lot more than plugin and read codes.

To learn more about it get a good repair manual or a online all data sub.

Good Luck
