1997 Rodeo Suspension

I'm currently needing to replace the suspension on my Rodeo, however, if I am going to do this, I may as well look into a small (2") lift while I'm getting it done. Any recommendations?

From what I've heard this is the best route to take, they really smooth out the ride, and give a natural lift back to the truck over the stock height leafs. Meaning, you may not need an additional lift in the rear.

For the front, you can simply crank your front torsion bars, no need for replacing anything other then shocks up front, and only if they're worn out.

A few of us owners are going with Skyjacker Hydro shocks, cause the rears come a bit longer for the added lift, they are getting wonderful reviews, and they are VERY affordable at around $36/shock thru Summit Racing.com

Do NOT get the Nitro shocks, they will beat you to death!

I have a 2" lift on my '97 Rodeo, with the use of longer rear shackles, my leafs didn't need replaced, and cranking the front torsion bars; I will be getting the skyjackers in a few weeks. I am also running 32" tires, which gives another 1" lift to the trucks overall height...I sit quite a bit taller then most other stock Rodeo's.
