ok so im doing the intake valves on my car right. well somehow i lose a washer for some bolt, im diggin around with a magnet around the pistons, remeber the heads r off. well the pos maget decide wit wants to be really attracted to acertain whole and when i try to pull it out it decides to stay. basically its one of those retractable magnets and the last segment broke off and the magnet is stuck in the whole.....its the hole under and a lil to the right of the headbolt hole and if im not mistaken it gos alll the way to the crank, if it was asmall peice of metal id just let it hang out at the bottom of the pan...but since its a magnet its gonna stay with the rods prolly.......what do i do!

how far down is it? try using another magnet or a long screwdriver to slowly drag it out.

if not i'd say your only option is to pull off the oil pan

Push it thru and drop the pan.

yea i gotta drop the dam pan. lol and i cant find that washer.....im going to sleep im having a bad day, thanks guys
