valves ticking bad

I have a 1998 acura integra gsr , and i recently did a valve adjustment to spec and it is ticking more than before i even touched them.... i left the car overnight before i did it....at first when i did them there were a little to tight so i loosened them off when the engine was cold and the ticking is gotten worse to the point were im scared to drive it....any input would be greatly appreciated

have a profecional check it... other than that you really dont want to drive it ou might blow a head....good luck
