Porsche Carrera GT

I’ve been working on this (more off than on actually) for a little while. So far it seems to be a very nice kit, fit and overall cleanliness of detail. Just an OOB build, here’s some in-progress photos… - Mark

Re: Porsche Carrera GT

Looking good. Everything is very clean especially the interior! I wonder what body colour you intend to use to match with the tan. I've also started this kit so I'll be interested to see what updates you post up.

Re: Porsche Carrera GT

Super clean job, the interior is fantastic. I'm also curious about the body color, what is the match with the red calipers?

Re: Porsche Carrera GT

Thanks!
If you have seen my past builds of similar style, I’ll bet you can garner a pretty fair guess as to what color the body will be. In fact there are clues to it in the interior color choices.
The red on the calipers is called out as standard for all colors of the body in the instructions… - Mark

Just looking at my intruction sheet and I don't find that anywhere. Just says it needs to be painted X-8 Lemon Yellow. Regardless, it's nice to see some difference in builds.

Re: Porsche Carrera GT

Ooops! My mistake. I don't know why, (maybe trying to build models after working 13 hour days?), but I thought it said X-7! Oh well, since it has some variances from a true factory stock it's not too bad of a mistake.
Actually, it might even work better with the body & interior color combo...
