Angry speedometer problem

my speedometer starts and stops intermittedly. about 2 weeks ago it stopped for about 5 miles and started working again, today the needle bounced arond for a while and then started working again. I took it to the dealership and their computer could bring up no codes that anything was wrong. any suggestions ? HELP !!

I am also having the same problem with my Escort. I have not taken it to the dealership yet. I'm open to suggestions on what to do too.

Hey, just took my car to the dealership, after the service engine light came on. It was the speed sensor. They replaced it and so far so good. The thing is, that until it completely dies, it is very hard for the computer to pick it up. So it will make you completely insane until then.

Good Luck and have them check your sensor

you need to oil the bearings try odostop.com

You Need To Oil The Bearings Try To Find The Grease Called Odostop, It Works Great
