Loss of power at high RPM
Yes more problems! My 2001 escape v6 2wd 140,000 miles losses power at 5,000 RPM. When at full throttle the escape take off great plenty of power until it gets to about 5,000 rpm then wont go any higher and wont shift out of the gear its in till I let off the gas and yes this happens in any gear. I am wandering if this is a trans problem and don't know if trans fluid has been changed since i bought the escape used with 130,000 miles on it. Any ideas Please?
