Trunk leaking....
I have a 98 civic ex, and everytime it rains the bottom of my trunk is soaked. The weather stripping seems to be in good shape and no holes, rotted areas or anything and i dont see a sign where the water is leaking. Even the sides are dry, but just the bottom of the trunk is wet. Can anyone help me on this if its not the weather stripping????

Re: Trunk leaking....
Drop the back seats down and climb in with a flashlight. Then have somone else with a garden hose on the outside start spraying water to find your leak.Worked for me! Didn't want my golf bag and shoes to get soaked anymore!

Re: Trunk leaking....
i think it is not weather stripping. you should find your trunk problem. may be your car should be replaced some parts. It comes with instructions, but I'm not sure how easy it is to do. Someone else has always done it for me.

Re: Trunk leaking....
I had that problem in my '97 EX. It turned out to be the vent located in the trunk behind the carpet on the driver's side. I used some silicone to seal around the edges of the vent and haven't had any problems since. Hope this is helpful.
