Re: no cold start

Have you checked the fuel pressure with a gauge???

Does it help to press the sccelerator to the floor???

Have you tried turning the ignition key on for couple seconds a few times before trying to start???

When was the last time the fuel filter was changed??

ANother trick to try is before you try a cold start take a small screwdriver to push in the valve on thge schrader port for testing fuel pressure, just make sure you have a rag around the schreader valve so when you depress the valve gas does not spray over the engine. If you have good pressure check the fuel pressure regulator. To test the fuel pressure regulator remove the vacuum hose and look for any raw gas in the line.

I am thinking the fuel pump check valve in it leaking and allowing the gas to bleed back into the gas tank. But do some testing before replacing as they are not cheap plus you need to lower gas tank in order to exchange pump. In case that it is the fuel pump you will want to have the least amount of gas in the tank as you can when you do the work.

Re: no cold start

Along the same line it could be a bad fuel pump relay.

Re: no cold start

Seeing the Service Engine Soon light? Have you checked for codes? Any maintenance done just prior to this starting? A rich fuel mixture is needed to start especially when cold. That initially points to the fuel system or the engine management sensors that determine the fuel mixture.
