Door won't open
My boyfriend owns a mazda 6 with the electric door locks. His door just stopped opening today. It will unlock, but won't open from outside or in. The really frustrating thing is that his remote doesn't work (stopped working about a year ago) and he can not use the key on the passenger door (no key hole). I was wondering if anyone my know why it would stop opening, how it might be fixed or how much it would cost to get it fixed. Thanks! P.S. he's a pizza delivery driver so he really needs easy access to his car.

I would bet that it looks like it is unlocked but something in the latch (usually one of the levers for the door handle rods) is stuck in the open position. This will not allow the latch to unlock fully.
