Sold the GSX :(

Well guys, I sold the GSX on Friday after almost 4 years worth of a lot of time, money, sweat and blood. I don't think it's hit me yet that it's really gone but I definitely had a lot of fun and learned a lot of stuff from having the car.

The decision to sell came due to the lack of uses for the car for my own situation. There aren't any tracks within a short drive to go to and try to better quarter mile times. I never really had any sort of friends into DSM's or even turbo cars for that matter so there have been countless hours alone in the garage and reading things online about DSM's. And I can't afford to get any more speeding tickets and whatnot.

I let the car go for $6,500 and I kept the wheels and tires. The car does have a salvage title. So as of now, I have my black 05 f-150, an 05 yamaha raptor 660r, an 03 honda crf50 pit bike, and am planning on using the money from the car towards buying a house in the next few months.

If anyone is interested in the wheels and tires let me know. They are 18" Motegi mr7 hyper black. Three of the tires are Dayton Daytona z/r's with around 20,000 miles on them and the other is a Kuhmo Ecsta with around 5,000 miles on it. I'm putting them up on craigslist for 950 or best offer.

siiggghhhhhhh.... Yea there's always that chance. It was hard for me to let go of my $900 88 ranger winter beater, and this car was my life for almost 4 years

That sucks man, do you know how much power it was putting down?

I'm not positve, estimate about 300 roughly. It was a looott faster than when i got it bone stock running 15.9 on a slipping clutch at 8ps on stock turbo. The lower motor seals were starting to leak oil bad like a quarter size pile every few hours. If I would have kept it I would have stripped it all down and rebuilt it all but the cash flow isn't big enough.

Thanks man it's gonna be weird not logging on all the time or researching new stuff to buy. Yea the guy did know what was all wrong with the car but he has plans to rebuild it all and keep it for life i guess
