2001 Ford Escape XLT Shoes and Drums

Hi,

I changed the rear shoes on my Escape and now i cant get the drums back on. the E-brake is off and i tried to bleed the brakes. still no luck. is there a special tool i need?

Just replaced mine not to long ago and did not seem to have any issues. Are you sure that the shoes are in the proper place? Is the self adjuster all the way in? You said the ebrake is off! Do you have a lip inside of the drum from wear that needs cut down? That is about all I can think of that could be an issue
