Pop up Adds?
has any one besides me noticed that there has recently been a lot of pop up adds on AF?
there never used to be

For gods sake..........AF provides you with free forums and free bandwidth and you are bitching about one or two pop-up ads???

its most likely Gator or someshit like that check out ad-aware 6.0 free to d/l and use and it gets rid of all spyware adware and registry adjustments they made works good it fixed it when i had the same problem and most likely you are using Kazaa use Kazaa-Lite ad free and a hell of a lot faster if you get the tweaked one that always has you as supreme being

my school district has filters set up so they can block out all the 'offensive' stuff, and everytime you try to access it, it comes up with a red warning screen and your user info is emailed to the school and it informs the school which user was looking at what 'offensive' material. Most teachers dont care though.
Anyways, i bet you're wondering where i'm going with this. well one day i got a pop-up ad, and surprise surprise in it was a nice red screen. My teacher, who happened to be in a bad mood that day, saw the red screen and started bitching at me. After trying to explain to him that it was a popup ad for five minutes, he finnaly got pissed off and sent me to the prinicpals office. Luckly the principal knows the teacher is a dick and just sent me back to class... another story of how popup ads piss me off. expecially those flash ones!
