The Holy Trinity...again!!!

So I'm driving down the highway last week minding my own business, when all of a sudden I hear this familiar "VRRRRRR" sound. Immmediatly I think to myself, "OH NO....NOT AGAIN". Then in rapid succession two things happen...the oh so annoying "Ding Ding Ding" from my speakers, then the SVS, Trac Off, and ABS lights come on.
This time instead of them being on constantly, they came and went with each start up.
However something new has been added to the mix...after about 4 days...out of the blue my car now sounds like an airplane going down the runway for takeoff.
I mean this happened as quickly as parking to run into a store, no noise..out 30 miniutes later, I can barely hear my radio over the sound coming from my car.
Currently even if the lights go off on startup, they come on within 500 feet of pulling forward, and the system will sometimes go VRRRR, VRRRRRRR, VRRRRRRRRRRR, then stop and the lights come on.

Since I have purchased this '02 Alero in 6/03 with 25784 miles on it, I have replaced the following hubs:
L/F Hub Assy 54.537 miles - 12/05 $396.00(dealer)
R/F Hub Assy 74,531 miles - 08/06 $313.00(dealer)
L/F Hub Assy 89,437 miles - 09/07 $214.00(local auto shop)

I now have about 116,000 miles on it, so looking interval-wise I guess I am due. But this time I want to do the job myself, but I do not have access to a scan tool to determine which one is bad.
Any guidance as to how to determine which one is faulty, or should I just do them both to get it out of the way?

Auto Zone is of no help, the scanners they have tell me everything is fine....can't pull SVS codes, just SES codes.

It sure sounds like hub bearings again and maybe a combination of bad wheel sensors. Is the airplane sound coming from the left or right front hubs? Do you know what torque values were used on the axle nuts and what style axle nut you have. There are two different axle nuts and each has a different torque value.

Autozone's scanners cannot check for or retrieve ABS codes.

Same issue here. my '00 has the same miles and I have replaced 4 front hubs so far and tomorrow will be doing the 5th. Timken bearing at Autozone is about $100 and I purchased the three bolt as well from the dealer ($1.50 each). If you are hand at all you can do it yourself in an hour or so.
A person that I work with has an '01 that sounded like a rotary plane going down the road before he replaced his. With his it was very clear which one was bad. On a clear stretch of road at ~45 mph you would turn and reduce the load on the inside wheel. IF it got louder then the outside wheel was the issue (more load = more noise = bad hub). That has work for me in the past as well. Otherwise it is $50 at the shop to have the code read to determine which one.

I got a printout from AutoZone detailing the repair and I see they have noted the 2 different colors of nuts and their torque values. I will make sure to pay attention to that when doing the repair.

As for what side its coming from, I tried using donny_b321 test from the post below yours and in doing so, when I turn to the left the noise lessens so I assume the right is bad, but prolly will do both just to get it out of the way.

The AutoZone repair sheet seems straightforward enough...is there a better description of the repair out there somewhere?
