IPC problem? coolant gauge not resseting after after ignition key is out.
97 GA 3.1 Coolant gauge remains at the last registered temp of coolant before the engine was turned off. It is supposed to go down to below Cold when the key is out. Anybody had this problem and what could this be?
Other than that it works perfect. However if I need to get another one from junk yard, is it possible to roll back or forward the miles to match my original IPC miles reading? Last edited by 3100; 04-15-2009 at 02:36 PM. |

Re: IPC problem? coolant gauge not resseting after after ignition key is out.
If it reads normal durning operations , I wouldnt worry about it to much. Remember these are some flakey IPCs.
Something I noticed on my 99 GT, when I push the odometer button, my gas gauge jumps up to show how much fuel is in the tank....when it doesnt normaly work right below a half tank.
