This is for a 2004 Impala 9C1 with 93k miles on it. The front left wheel bearing is bad. I tried replacing it, following the instructions in the factory manual, but I am unable to push the axle out of the wheel bearing. I broke a 3-ton jaw puller trying to do this. Is there a trick to this? Help!

Re: 2004 Impala 9C1 - Wheel Bearing
By the way, I was able to get the wheel bearing out of the knuckle so this is purely an issue with pushing the axle out.

Re: 2004 Impala 9C1 - Wheel Bearing
Got no replies on this one, but just wanted to let everyone know that the axle had to be removed from the car to get the wheel bearing off...
