tranny in 2000 z71 not shifting right

transmission is winding up about 3000 rpms before shifting to second then works good, just put it in for a friend, but not sure if the wires on the tranny is right, or if its a silenoid problem , or what, any help would be appreciated..

the 2000 transmission when cold will up shift 1-2nd late/delayed..
If the wires are not correct the temp sensor in the transmission also may have problems...if the computer thinks its cold...
