What needs to come off to remove cluster on 1997?

I have the intermittant rpm, odometer reading thing going on and I want to remove the cluster to solder the connections as some have said to do. I don't want to screw things up so can anyone help? thanks.

Re: What needs to come off to remove cluster on 1997?

If it is a JX, the bezel around the cluster needs to be pulled off. The top and bottom edges need to be pried loose from the edge, as there are some plastic tabs that hold it in place. Pull out on each edge to loosen the push in clips (one on each side). I used a screwdriver on the far right and left edges to pry it loose. I just posted a solder fix answer to another question regarding the odometer etc. issue. I just fixed my JX with that problem.

http://members.cox.net/dpeters30/97_sebring_dash.htm This link I posted works, it has pictures and clear instructions on how to fix it. I followed this instructions and my cluster works like new.
