Fuel injector cleaner??

I just got a 1995 Mystique and I am thinking about putting some Fuel injector cleaner in it, Is it going to hurt any thing? This is my first car in 12 years and alot has changed. The car has over 175000 miles but seams to be doing good and it only cost me $1.00.
Thanks
maddog

Re: Fuel injector cleaner??

No it won't hurt it but I'm not sure its neccessary. Today's injectors don't carbon up at the tips like they did 20 years ago so the need is not as critical, but if it gives you the peace of mind, go for it. It's probably only a few bucks.

Thanks for the response, I never use an addative in my bike but, it's a lot different than a car.
Just had to make sure
