Breaking in the new engine?
once i get my engine running today or tomorrow i was wondering what the rules for breaking in my new engine are? like the first 50 miles 20mph or less and then the first 500 miles 60 mph or less? im not sure but was wondering if anyone does know.

Since you didnt mention your year or engine size.....
Just keep it under 3000 rpm for the first 400-500 miles. No jack rabbit starts on take offs, and keep it under 60 mph for at least the first 500 miles. The easier you break it in the better it'll last/run. Id also change the oil after that 500 mile mark.
