Sure, its a bitch.
In all seriousness, you need to tear the whole dash apart all the way down to the firewall and remove the black HVAC box. This requires removal of the steering wheel and the whole plastic dash itself. The heater core is inside that black box and there are plastic rivets that you need to carefully drill out, and then when you install the new one use slightly larger self tapping screws.
