Had this code pop on tonight.
Is this one of those finicky codes that comes on if you sneeze and go over a speed bump at the same time, or is this pretty serious? The engine seems to be running fine.In any case, how much does an injector run for on these things and also, what does a PCM go for? (2000 Grand Cherokee Limited 4.7L) Are either of these a DIY job, or are they pretty involved? I REALLY hope the PCM isn't gone. Any input is appreciated! Thanks!

i own a 2000 GCL with the 4.7 also. last summer on a long road trip, i had the same code appear. i carry a code reader with me on long trips. there was no change in the way the engine ran, everything looked, felt, and sounded fine. i cleared the code and havnt seen it back for a year now. it is worth keeping an eye on though.

Re: Trouble Code: P0204 - Cylinder 4 Injector Circuit Malfunction
Thanks for the input. After work one day, shortly after I made this post, I went to start the Jeep to go home and the light turned off. I went to the autoparts store and got a bottle of fuel injector cleaner and ran that with a tank of 91. The light hasn’t been on since, so I’m hoping the injector just got gummed up.
