97 intrepid oil light on at stop light

i have a 97 dodge intrepid with the 3.5L.. i have taking very good care of this car but for the last three or four months the oil light will come on at idle after it is warmed up like 30 or 45 mins of driving it ... oil pressure checks out good.. does anyone have any idea of what to do.. i was planning on changeing the oil pressure sensor but wanted to make sure it was worth doing thanks

Could be the oil pressure sending unit that is bad.
