Engine Swap vs. SC vs. Bolt Ons?

Hello there. I'm the recent purchaser of a bone stock 06 Mustang GT. I would love to get a lot of power for relatively cheap money. Please correct me if I'm wrong-

I think that an engine swap for something enormous (idk engine names very well... 507ish size?) would be the most powerful option- lots of opportunity to mod an already more-powerful engine. This also seems like the most expensive option, since I'd be paying someone else for the engine swap. Idk if junkyards around me would have anything good I'm looking for.

Supercharging is option 2. Also very costly. And because it's an automatic, I can only get it up to 400ish horses with ford performance SC kits. I've also been told that I can't toss Nitrous on my engine if I've already supercharged it, since it'll blow gaskets like nobody's business.

Bolt ons! Whoo!!! I know the pros and cons here, but I was hoping you guys would be able to give me some recommendations or potential hp increases?

So now that being said- I'm asking veteran Mustang owners what their preferences of the options would be. I value your opinions since I'm new to modding cars as well as driving them. I'm sorry if this has been asked in any capacity before. The search function wouldn't work for me.

An engine swap, on an 06GT?

Bolt ons for a S197 are a waste.

Go N2O, 75-100 shot with a progressive input and call it a day.
