installing new multi function lever on 1993 P.A.

Hi All,

Can anyone give me instructions on how to remove and replace the multi function lever that controls the cruise wipers and signals?? 1993 park avenue

I believe I did that on a 93 or an 89. It just pulled out. The fine wires thread down inside the cover for the steering column. At the bottom of the column disconnect those wires, tie a good string to the wires, and pull it up through the column as you remove the switch lever.

Then use that string to pull the new connector and wire down through the outer shell around the steering column. Push the new lever in and that was it for me. Some upside down work, but easy.
