1992 735i Trans 4HP22/24

Hello, my 1992 735i trans went out and I would like to get another. I entered my vin on realoem and it said I had 4HP22/24 ..... Does this mean I could use either the 22 or 24... Anyone have insite on what this means so I don't buy the wrong one. My shifter has the S/M button on the side if that helps

Thanks
