I have recently fixed my starting problem and now it will not idle(just dies if your foot is not into the accelerator) i have checked for codes and it came up with 24x cranksensor/3x cranksensor(both just replaced) cam sensor and o2 sensor rich. I have cleaned the throttlebody/iac and replace throttle position switch. It has a new computer and fuel pump and filter. all sparkplugs have good spark and i cannot figure out why it will not idle. any help with this nightmare would be great.

because you need to do CKP relearn procedure


any time you replace: CKP or PCM do the relearn procedure with appropriate scanner

Is relearning the computer the same as flashing it? And what special computer would I use to relearn it at home? Thanks for the help.

scanner that can read live data, trans, abs, ipc codes most likely can do ckp relearn.

your car should be free form any other codes, and should be at normal operating temperature as such it can be completed in 5 min. So go to GM dealer for an oil change ask them if they can help you with that.. maybe they do it for free. honestly 3 min the most. But that is only if you are 100% sure that you do not have any codes.

Only a select few , like the stealership, can "flash" a PCM . I guess Digital Horsepowr and MMS can also flash them.

As 3100 stated a highend scanner can easily do the CKP relearn.
