Intake + carb. suggestions?
Howdy guys. I've got an 84 F150, 2 wheel drive, C6, stock 351W.
I've been looking at the Edelbrock Performer series... American cars are new to me, so I don't know who makes good parts. I'm looking for a nice, reliable, setup with no hesitation off the line. Thanks =)

Re: Intake + carb. suggestions?
Edelbrock is a great name for intakes only made in the USA instead of overseas.Edelbrock is the way to go for a street carb, easy to set up out of the box.Holley is another story for carburators,a pain to set,not a good street carb only good for racing.Plus if one part gets changed, everything gets changed and Holleys have a terrible problem with flooding out

Wow. I did not know that about Holley stuff. Thanks.
I'm looking at the Performer intake manifold and the 600cfm Performer carb. Do you think 600cfm is righteous? I'm worried about having too much air at low rpms.
