Yea i guess im sick like that, ha ha. But I am thinking about painting my valve cover red, and when I get my intake, wanna paint the tube red also. And I know that you painted your valve cover, so any suggestions that you have on that?

Not surprizing, I beat the hell out of a new 2000 Jeta with my hatch, all I got is a D16A6 with I/H/E... I dont think I was putting down the 144 WHP my frend jeremy was iether... But then, he drives like :bathroom: So I can probably credit alot of it to that... Then again, I drove his car and REALY mashed on it... Its cool, but it doesent seem to have the same kinda balls as my hatch.
I think this has to do alot with the power band. Were he may have more up top power, I definatly got more torque and mid to low end. Remember its not ALL about how much WHP you got, it has alot to do with were its at! If you only had 100 Whp you could smoke a car with 500 whp if he only had 50 whp untill 6000 Rpms and you had 90 @ 2000... You would smoke him like a frankfurt...

i suggest cleaning the black paint off with a wire wheel, then just sand alot! to make it flat and smooth. start with like 80 grit then work ur way up to round 300 - 400 grit, clean it, (i used the sink and laundry soap) lol my mom thought i was weird hehe. then once its dry and clean use a high heat paint or else it'll melt and turn shitty after a day or 2. and i suggest doin like 2 - 3 maybe even 4 coats

i highly suggest Dupli color spray bombs, there awesome, they have an anodized reddish orange colour, silver, blue, yellow and some others
they have a good selection of stuff but yea good luck with it and look forward 2 seein the finished product
