FRANCE'S first lady broke with protocol today as she held out a frosty hand to welcome Barack Obama.
Stunning Carla Bruni was business-like in her greeting — while her hubby treated the US President's wife to a hug and Continental double kiss.
The former model gave customary pecks on both cheeks to Michelle Obama and other dignitaries when the couple arrived in France.
But when it came to the dashing US President the beauty kept a noticeable distance.

That stuff is petty so no big deal. Besides they are in France so what would we expect?

The stuff that concerns me is Obama spouting off about a nuclear arms free world. Man, this guy can talk crap. Talk about needing a reality check. It would be nice to see but until the other countries including our so called allies that have them get rid of them it would be an exercise in futility.

Obama seeks world free of nuclear arms

STRASBOURG, France (Reuters) - U.S. President Barack Obama called on Friday for a world without atomic weapons and urged allies to stand firm against Iran's nuclear ambitions and a planned missile launch by North Korea.

On his first major foreign trip since he took office in January, Obama held talks with French President Nicolas Sarkozy in eastern France and took questions from young French and Germans before a NATO summit hosted by France and Germany.

I was amazed at the way he kissed up to the European leadership. He was virtually giving the US to them on a platter. Nuclear arms? What nuclear arms. Our national protection means nothing. Let's just give up everything so we can be just like Europe.

We are quickly becoming a Marxist state. Soon capitalism will be passe'.

NATO protesters storm hotel, light fires
Officials cancel Michelle Obama's plan to visit hospital amid security fears

First lady Michelle Obama and other spouses canceled a visit to a cancer hospital out of concern for security, the French president's office said. Some 1,000 protesters were staked out near the hospital they were to visit.
