Yes there is the GT tail lights and then the Coupe tail lights.... GT ones were on all GT's from 86-88 they were known as "Fastbacks". These were bigger and had the light up "PONTIAC" in the back.
Coupe ones were on every other model - SE/Coupe/Indy/Formula... from 84-88 these style Fiero's were known as "Notchbacks" As about interchangability... yes and no....... if you want to you will need rear wiring harness/fastback clip/decklid/rear bumper (I think rear bumper) from a fastback(GT) car. everything will bolt right on to a notchback. Everything on Fiero's is interchangable pretty much. the 88's had different suspention and brakes so they wont fit on pre 88's without major mods. 87's had some different fuel injection stuff and such. but just about evey body part and stuff will bolt on/off and swap.
