Ferrari 250 GTO Parts Identifying Questions
First of all, a while back, someone gave a link to their stash of GTO photos, which I promptly copied for my own use so many thanks to that forgotten person.
Now for some help from those who know their GTOs. ![]() I'm having a little trouble identifying all of the pipework at the front of the engine. As far as I can tell, the two blue pipes run from the top end of the block and from the pump(?) located below on the front. Not many problems here. What is the big circled red pipe? Where does the cyan and orange coloured pipes go? Two photos here. 1. ![]() 2. ![]() From the oil pan of the engine, there is a pipe/line that runs towards the back of the car but I can't see where it goes. Does it go into the part labelled A in photo 2? (note that 1 in photo 1 is 3 in photo 2) What is A? Back to photo 1, where does pipe/line number 2 go and where does number 4 come from? Does line number 1 and 4 end up in the same place? Finally. ![]() Where does this line from the fuel tank/cell come from and where/how does it run? Is there another line from the fuel cell/tank that needs to be added? Thanks in advance to those that can help.

Re: Ferrari 250 GTO Parts Identifying Questions
Water lines, first photos:
Red circled red pipe (if you mean the alu coloured) is lower water hose -> bottom of radiator. Fujimi kit part is correct. Cyan and orange coloured pipes are heater hoses, they go to top center of firewall. See this picture, from 250GTE, but similar assembly. Oil lines, the two photo set: First of all, Fujimi kit is missing the oil cooler which is located in front of the radiator. Part A is dry sump oil tank. Pipe 1: From sump to oil tank Pipe 2: From right side of oil cooler to sump Pipe 4: From right side of oil cooler to oil tank I'm not sure about which line goes to top of oil cooler or tank. Last pic: Fuel supply line, from tank to fuel pump. Fuel pump is the alu coloured part in top left of your pic 2. Fuel lines from pump to engine run alongside of the left hand side (from the rear of the car) frame rail. There should also be return line from carbs back to tank. -Niko

Re: Ferrari 250 GTO Parts Identifying Questions
That was brilliant.
By the way, I'm building the Revell re-pack of the Protar kit. It never occured to me to cross check with other kits, especially the more modern Fujimi kit for reference. It also means I'm missing the oil tank. Two further things, when you say oil cooler, do you mean the one that is found on the MFH '64 kit and seen here in Alex's photo? Finally, fuel pump. ![]() Does anyone have a good photo of where the oil lines connect to on the oil tank?
